The Essenes lived at a time of ordeal. They were Esoteric. They held the wisdom of all knowledge and thus became the enemy of those of rigid mind and male dominance. The Essenes were lied about, blackened in reputation and persecuted. Silence became their mantle. 

Part of our heritage is ‘you will know them by their eyes’ - it holds the heart’s smile. It knows and demonstrates what Love is. Ultimately, the actions of Love are the lineage of our true disposition. The vulnerability of the Heart is an eternal silence.
