Russian Roulette Disc

In many of the things that we do there is a fatal element, since the prime possibility of existence is non-existence, as is evidenced most obviously to us through the death process. This fatal possibility hovers in the background most particularly with airplane flights and vehicle driving. Both of these activities can be likened to holding a karmic revolver to our heads with one bullet in the chamber. Such a situation keeps us perpetually frightened. Further, where there is a ‘me’ there is always the threatening ‘other’. So every meeting with the ‘other’, particularly foreign others, is felt by us to be a Russian Roulette situation. Does what goes around come around? Does God play dice with humanity?
